As part of the STEM Academy, under the leadership of our new technology teacher Cesar Camacho, students in Cathedral’s Maker’s Club designed original headphones. Utilizing 3D printers, purchased through our grant from the Fund II Foundation, they employed computer aided design (CAD), engineering, and manufacturing to display their individuality, style, and creativity. This project also taught students about material science, helping them determine which material is suitable for each of the headphone parts.
