Cathedral High School is proud to announce a $100,000 grant from the Fund II Foundation

This extraordinary gift will have a substantial impact on enhancing our STEM program, as well as providing a model for other STEM programs.
CHS \will expand the STEM curriculum with instruction in technical drawing and 3D modeling, coding and robotics, focusing on
mechanical systems and programming required for human-controlled and autonomous robotic movements. student clubs, workshops, panels, and guest speaker programs will offer supplemental learning opportunities for CHS students and lay the foundation for success in the STEM-based workforce.

Jonathan Boo, Director of STEM and the 2019 recipient of the "Emergent Design Science Professional Award" from the Rhode Island School of Design will spearhead this project.  Jonathan is a Graduate of SUNY Oswego with a degree in technology education. He is a freelance
design/builder.
